No public transport For an international customer without a car it is just too far from the city. The only transport is by taxi and they want $18 each way. Fortunately locals offered lifts and saved me over $50. With reception closed at night I could not get help when the next room was too noisy after 2am. Burger King and service stations are close enough to walk.
In town for football game Rooms were clean and hardwood flooring was a nice comfort. front desk shuts down around 10 and wasn't open at 1030 next morning for us to check out so had to leave cards. Seemed no one was ever at front desk during our stay. Was going through renovation but no loud noises. The rooms are extremely clean and nice. I had no complaints about that. The direct tv is a little outdated with 30 channels but that's a minor issue. Overall good stay. Nice and quiet. I would just suggest having a front desk staf... read more
Great room.. great price.. very close to everything!!
I was unaware that the room with a kitchenette came with NO accessories. I paid a little more for this hotel, granted not much more, so I would be able to Dave some money on meals. Luckily I was moving my son onto University of Alabama campus and was able to use some of his cooking tools. But overall this was a very nice establishment. Very nice staff and relatively clean environment. Nice laundry room and hallway. Everything was good for the most part, had a few ants here and there but nothing life threatening, besides that room was clean staff was nice everything was GOOD, we was able to cook and stock refrigerator for our stay that week, staff gave us clean sheets and towels when needed.. I would definitely stay again
