Homestead in STL It was a fairly nice hotel but a little tricky to get to. You can hear people around you and in the halls the noise was there but there wasn't much of it so it wasn't too much of a problem just one instance at 3am. Bring your own pillows you only get two and they are super thin and when I called to see if I could get more I was rudely told that it was not possible. Over all I will not be staying at this place again I have had worse experiences and the price was really nice but its cons just outweigh the good... read more

Okay in a pinch! I stayed here for two nights. The first night, I couldn't sleep, as the matress was very old, hard, and stunk. The room itself was pretty decent. Carpet was a little bit dirty, but the shower was nice, clean, and came with brand new towels. Other than the matress, dishes, and Iron issues, I'd probably stay here again in a pinch.

Contrary to some of the older reviews, I found that this hotel is actually pretty good. The room is clean and comfortable. The kitchen is missing pots and pans, but we were able to get one from the front desk. It definitely worth the money. I would visit this hotel again.

Convenience and Budget Conscious This hotel was okay for the money. Room was clean with no frills. Front desk was helpful and courteous when needed. I believe that these "suites" had folks actually living there so I'm never really sure what to make of that. But even so, I never felt that we had any concerns. I was in town with my wife and teenage daughter for a concert at Verizon. It was a two day stay. Would stay there again.

Homestead is good hotel for money. The hotel is what I expected for the dollars spent. Good value for the money. Nothing stood out negatively about experience. Would definitely stay again if I am in area.

Beware AC in summer The room itself was clean and very modern looking. Only downside is the AC. The AC unit sounded like a lawn mower when it was on, and it was very difficult to listen to TV/sleep. Can't really do with out the AC in the middle of summer though. Also, the hallways had a strong oder of smoke, even though either side of the hallway was non-smoking rooms. For a one night stay, for the price it was workable. Anything longer I would of found somewhere else.
