About what I expected for the price Overall the place is what you can expect for the price. All of the common areas need a good wiping off or paint touchup. Maybe even run the vacuum. The place just looks unkept. The check in process was OK except for listening to the clerk talk with another another long term guest who had his CAT on a leash with him and was hanging around the check in area. Safe area The entrances isn't marked very well and I lapped the building thinking I was missing it. And when I walked out once, a food delivery person asked if this was the main enterance. It didn't affect my stay at all, but just wanted to mention it.

Had a nice stay. Hotel is clean and atmosphere has a positive feel; staff was pleasant with my limited interaction with them. Room was clean and updated, and while the bed was firmer than my old bones appreciate, I slept decently. The shower head could be better, but, hey, I got clean. The parking lot is well lit, and didn’t feel sketchy going to my car at night; while the area around the location is a bit questionable (it’s Portland, after all), the parking lot area seemed protected, and the hotel itself felt safe.
