I needed a short term storage solution while I was in-between houses. Thinking about renting a storage unit gave me anxiety - I assumed the experience would be awful. I have rented here 3 times total in the last 8 years and this place is great! I always feel that my things are safe and secure and the staff is always very friendly and helpful!
Excellent communication with the managers overall. I appreciate that they worked with me to pro rate my last month. The space is basic, well lit, and clean. Everything was painless. I would definitely use their facility again if in a position to do so. Good service, dudes!
The facility is great and very well-kept. Unfortunately, last night I went into my unit and realized that there was a roof leak that had dripped down and ruined my microfiber ottoman. Granted, we have had a tremendous amount of rain this spring in Denver, but nevertheless was disappointed. We recently started renting at ExtraSpace Storage on Lincoln Ave in Parker CO. The customer service is really good, and the price for the space was a really good deal for us. We transferred our stuff from a POD to a storage unit, and the help from Dustin @ ExtraSpace made that process easy. The drop-off and pick-up of the POD went as smooth as we could have wished. We definitely recommend this storage location.
First off this place is unsafe during winter when it has snowed. They never lay down ice melt which creates a huge safety concern. I have seen large patches of ice that last for many weeks. Secondly, their price gouging is almost criminal (or should be). Just received a notice that my rent is DOUBLING! They raised my rate by about $13 a month last year but this year they are raising it by $89 a month, an 88% increase in a year! This "management" has changed recently and as a 5+ year client of Extra Space storage, I can officially say that my garage will be a little bit more cluttered as I empty out my large unit on this property. The property has become in disrepair, with trash littered about and with abandoned and rusty vehicles parked in every corner, SOME WITH PEOPLE LIVING IN THEM. We sold our house and rented 4 units from Extra space Storage on Lincoln in Parker on 4/2019 which is our first storage unit experience. After several months we managed to consolidate to one 10x20 unit. Corporate management is apparently tone deaf to the times we live in. Rate increases on 4 units is an unpleasant experience and in 5 months we had 4 at10.78%, 17.14%, 18.04%,18.76%. Attempted to procure a space here for a car. Spoke with someone in a central phone site name Keith who was lovely. He said I'd be contacted by the manager on site soon. Dustin called within 10min. As I attempted to understand the details of how to best secure the unit from out of state, Dustin offered confusing information about what I'd need to do locally at the Extra Space down the street vs what would have to be done on site in Denver.
