Excellent, professional service and reasonably priced. Nelson and his team have taken great care of my things for almost 10 years. I recommend them without hesitation!

This is a clean, safe, updated facility. Space of units and cost are comparative to other local facilities. Staff are friendly, helpful and great folks to work with. There are plenty of working dollys. There is insurance, as we know is a requirement and if it something happens, we would be very happy to have it. No complaints, would I like it to be a little cheaper? Yes, is that realistic, probably not. I would recommend this facility.

This place is great! I've had my storage unit for over 4 years and I can honestly say that I haven't had any problems. Nelson and Lily are always very courteous and they go out of their way to help you in any way. It's a pleasure. The place is always clean and well lit. I feel safe if I have to stop by and get something. They are located in a nice area of Englewood, next to a pizza place and across the street from an ice cream store. I highly recommend Extra Space Storage in Englewood, NJ.

The facility feels safe (most of the times, see below) and location is right off the highway, but I've got a few issues with them. Pros: 1) They have dollys that work 2) Location is nice Cons 1) Hidden Fees: you're forced to get insurance for the unit, so make sure you budget that in your expenses. Also there are initial fees you have to pay too. I was promised $180, but on the first month I had to pay close to $240 2) There was a black out in the area during the time of my visit. Shocked this company has an overall rating of 4.9 stars. Terrible customer service - when I first rented the unit I let them know via a live phone conversation that I wouldn't be able to move in/lock the unit till the following month, and when I arrived with the movers the unit was locked from the outside anyway. Since it was after hours, customer service had to call the building manager to figure out the code, which wasn't working for me and I tried it 4 times. I wish I could give a zero rating. Horrible Customer Service. I'm so happy that I will never be using their storage units ever again. It's such a scam. My rate was increased within months of storing my items. The facility manager Bryon told me that he was on lunch and would call me back regarding prorating my rate since I was moving my items out of the unit but never did. I then called again another day and was told that regardless of the move-out I had to pay a full month and that I wasn't allow to receive the prorated rat... read more

I give this place no stars. They are not customer focused, I have a unit there and my items were damaged in the flooding that they had in February, I was told that my unit was not affected, but when I was finally able to get in to the unit I could clearly see water marks on my items with in sight. Speaking with the manager and they are willing to work me the customer to move my reamining slavage able items out and end my business with this company. So never rent from Extra Space Storage, they don't care about their custmers.

No stars if possible. Rented a climate controlled 5x10 unit. Everything was fine during year 1. After year 1,they increased monthly rate more than 100%. No prior warning, no notification of change in rate. Good bye to my business.

The sign up was easy hence the two stars instead of one, but the customer service on site COMPLETELY DIFFERENT STORY......... I got this condescending man on the phone after calling the number that was posted because no one was in the office. The sign said they were on the grounds not out to lunch. He finally answered and all I was asking for was scissors or assistance to help open the package my lock came in because I was having difficulty.
