I just opened an account thru Marvin at this location. He was thorough in explaining the account possibilities, helpful and personable. The facility appears clean and well-lighted. I appreciate the security of double locked doors and the convenience of my unit's proximity to the loading dock.

I've always had a good experience with this particular storage facility but yesterday Extra Space Storage on 6011 Blair Rd. NW really proved why so many like storing their personal items at this facility. I moved to this location a year ago from the U Street location. I highly recommend this storage facility for anyone looking for storage in DC. It's clean, the provided carts are great, it's well lit and I feel safe while inside and outside in the parking lot. The prices were better than other facilities in the area and the staff was professional. I have no complaints.

This storage facility is clean and the people who work there are very friendly. My unit is on the top floor and it was easy to move all of my things in. They provide carts and convenient parking. A big improvement from my previous storage unit.

Signing the lease was no hassle, and I got a fair price. The young man at the front desk (Edmund Wright) was excellent, courteous, and efficient. Another woman who was keeping the place clean opened a rolling door to make life easy for me. Clean facility, with carts available (nicer than the hand truck/dolly I brought with me). I was impressed with their storage/security. Professional yet friendly staff, clean facility with reasonable rates. It feels very secure with multiple cameras and locks. Move in was easy thanks to abundant carts for customers to use. Easy to navigate hallways. Highly recommend for anyone looking for storage in DC.

While Jasmine is nice and cordial, she did not follow through with her promise to call me back to secure my rental. Now, the morning of the next day I am stuck trying to get this done with Mr. Foster who has ZERO respect for customers. Since I am a current customer and I need to spread my household out I could not "just go somewhere else" as he suggested. Please if you are in need of a storage unit, find another one, Extra Space or otherwise.
