RecommendedI recently inquired about a unit at Space Storage and was helped by Holly. She was pleasant and courteous and very knowledgeable. The price seemed reasonable and I will be sure to use their services when I move this month!

Storage price went up by almost double after only being there 3 months. I looked at the reviews after this happened and apparently that I very common. I also saw that they will apparently work with you on price but that is not the experience I had. After saying the price is crazy I was told I would be locked out of my unit in 2 days for being a couple of days late due to the crazy amount they tried to charge my card and my card thought it was fraud. It’s a bait & switch business. They’ll have you enter at a low price and then continue to raise your rate to an exuberant amount with no change in service except for more visible rat traps. The manager in Yorktown has zero customer relation experience and it is rude & pompous for a simple job. Not someone you want to have to deal with on a business level - one of the main reasons I moved out of that specific storage location.

The space was fine & the price was good to start with but by the end of the 1st year the price jumped $80. Very expensive & not worth it, I had to find a cheaper unit elsewhere, which I did.
