My rate was increased without any notice. I e been there 4 months, totally unacceptable I'm on auto pay so I didn't catch it. I'll be looking elsewhere
STAY AWAY!! this place is the worst. first there's some jerkwad that drives around in his little cart and harasses you if you're there for more than hour, even if you're trying to get things organized or looking for something. then there's the REALLY BAD part, the rent went up 78% in 8 months. i call this theft. like i said, STAY AWAY!!

The district manager at this location is straight trash. he promised me a rate of $79 per month and then raised it to $133 per month with no notification that it was being raised. I continued paying it for about six months and then requested to please go back to my original payment that I agreed to of $79. While this storage facility is nice, i had my storage for 3 months and they tried to increase the rent $80.00 a month. Totally ridiculous. I am looking for a new place that does not do that.

Well shoot i moved here because Foothil Vineyard doubled my rent. So I moved all my stuff in here about 4 months. What ya know it they also just double my rent. I understand times are changing but doubling the rent seems a bit much. Too bad.

I called Michael at this facility to cancel my storage unit on the 26th of the month. I was asked when I wanted to move out. I said by the first of the upcoming month. I was told I needed to provide a credit card so I could be charged a prorated month. I was confused by this as I thought I paid my month from the 1st thru last day of month. So I enquired why if I was on auto pay would I owe anything? this storage facility has bad or no security at all. our storage unit was broken into. lock cut off. we have not heard from the manager at all. plus he lives on site and this has happened more then once!!!!! we were not notified nor the police last break in.
Well, know this. After a few months EXPECT at least a $25 monthly increase. This is a month to month deal so they can technically price the unit each month however they want to. Just talked to them and they told me that exactly. So if you want the insecurity of not knowing what your payment will be month to month. Extra Space is the place. I am very detailed when I rent stuff like this and they were able to get that one over on me. Now my "good deal" on a unit is no longer a good deal. Next time I'll do a real contract.
I'm only giving this place 2 stars because I do think they have a pretty secure facility. We had our trailer here for approximately 18 months. Over that period, we had our rent increase 3 times, nearly $20 per month. Certainly a "thanks for your loyalty" message to send to your customers. We recently sold our trailer and since we are a few days into the month, attempted to get a partial refund for the month since we no longer will need the space.
