My second time back. They instill confidence. Are extremely nice and communicative. The facilities are clean. Of course, rents increase. It's temporary storage. Short terms work great for us! Thank you for being our neighborhood trusted secure storage.
It's rare I make a review, these employees warrant a review. I've been treated with nothing but respect and kindness. Susan is it is an amazing staff member who goes the extra mile even when she doesn't have to she'll sit out in the cold with thought a jacket just to make sure that your needs are met I absolutely love extra space definitely rent from these people best storage unit in Salmon Creek. Manager, Jay, is very personable and helpful. Storage room as well as all property is nice and clean; however, rent was raised $60+ after just a couple of months. The increase was tough to absorb, but moving to another facility would not have been cost effective since we were only renting for 6 months.
I put ''My American Dream#3 away for the off season!' This place is very handy, just down I-5 a piece from my home in La Center. clean and cozy for my baby this winter? Update: They called and are making it right, so bumping 1 star. But it looks like if I were to stay they would be again raising rates, making it more than double when I signed up. $229/mo for what I think is a 10x10 unit is crazy even by today's standards, imo Previous Review: 1 star is too generous. They are extremely over priced. After the fourth time of our rates be raised in the last year and a half and now this time with a $60 increase, we are done. Looking for a new place. This is ridiculous, there is no answer they could give that could justify our rate going from $288 to $468.
After two months of renting a unit at Extra Space, I was sent a notice that they will be increasing the fees. Needless to say, I moved my items out. My message for anyone thinking of renting from this company BEWARE!

Beware of their tricks to get more of your money, and the professionalism of their systems is embarrassing! Not surprising is that your monthly rate will increase, but mine over doubled within the year. Secondly, I moved out on the 1st of the month, one day after they extracted my autopayment for the month. I asked for a refund or proration and they said it was against their policy. I rented there and 2 months later they wanted to raise my rent $80.00. I complained and they said it was the market price. I found a place in Woodland for way less for a bigger unit. I moved out to Woodland.
