I rented a storage unit at a set price, 3month s later the price doubled. All the employee would say is we could go up at any time. I can see maybe a few dollars but not doubled. Also, when they gave me the rate, no one said we can go up at any time. I would not have used them if that was the case. His response to that is sometimes our new employees forget to tell you that. This is ridiculous. On top of it, they make sure you have no one to contact. Do better.

Consistently increasing rental prices with no justification! I had to call numerous times to inquire why the price is increasing when what was reflecting online was considerably lower - just for them magically to revert back to the original agreed upon rental price!Fluctuating and inconsistent information regarding the actual date that late fees are posted..late on the 12th but late fees added on the 15th?? Oh it was an awful experience. First off the prices changed. Then to top it off they had the wrong phone number so couldn't contact us to make payment. Which it was suppose to be on ACH. I'm so glad we removed all items. Wouldn't never come back or recommend anyone else this headache. ***** the manger over Lifestorage on *************** in ********** ** is not friendly to situations when her staff is truely the ones that drop the ball.

Only reason I gave 1 Star is due to it being the only option. I moved in about 6yrs ago, never missed a payment at the *******,** location. I went 2 months ago and checked on my unit and it's full of mice droppings and urine. Smell is diabolical! I couldn't even go through our belongings. My inlaws have a unit there also with the same issue. I spoke with someone there about moving out via a phone call and I went into the website to move out. please listen to these reviews because i found them way too late. my price was almost doubled after the "intro" rate that was never disclosed. 3 months in like everyone else. it is illegal to do this in my state. I will be leaving ASAP and working on a possible refund. this is despicable on so many levels

I have been with this storage place for 2 years and since they moved over from Life Storage. I have lost over $10,000 worth of items and the insurance company didn't want to pay out much and I should of gotten my pay back from all the months I've paid. They have rodent problems bad and my storage was infested.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Life Space or Extra Space Storage. When I initially rented a storage unit three months ago, I was given a reasonable monthly rate.
