I couldn't agree more with the other reviews- PREDATORY is an understatement. I echo everyone that says this company jacks up prices right after they get you in the door. They take advantage of customers. It's insulting and wrong. Shame on Extra Space storage for your business model. ...and Extra Space...don't even try to respond to this review saying "I'm sorry you've had this experience...blah blah blah." You know what you are doing and it's wrong.

This is a predatory scam company. They lied about my unit, the price, and the location when I initially paid so when I moved in, everything was the worst possible etc. Then they doubled the price of my unit after a few months and this is what they do to people to extort money. I am forced to not only move all my belongings to a smaller unit but to prepay for months in advance to avoid the doubling etc of my rent moving forward. If I prepay for 4 months in the new, smaller storage unit space, I will then have my rent doubled ... read more

Catfish!!! I rented a unit for $66/month online. In advance of the fifth month, I was billed $132 for the month. When I called the office to inquire, I was told I could not be refunded any amount but that they could reduce my monthly rate for the following month to $103/month. I decided to move out instead as I object to these unscrupulous and exploitive business practices. Why not give proper notice of the change in rate? Very nosey staff who don't respect your privacy at all. They were keeping tabs on what items I keep in storage. I had to cancel my storage 2 weeks after paying for it. Wasted money because the staff's attitude. They kept acting like I had done something wrong or was committing a crime from the very beginning. All I did was rent some storage. Then I tried to get 24 hour access, but they kept lying to my face about a form I need to fill out. So I went to another storage place a mile away and was instantly granted 24 hour acces... read more

This location is fine as a storage option but their prices are ridiculous. We just received a new notice telling us they are raising prices for the third time since we first moved there less than two years ago. We started at $147/month for our unit and they're now upping the price to $236/month. There's been no upgrade in the facilities to warrant this increase.
Find somewhere else to store your things. We've been renting here for 2 years and will soon be moving. Reported a leak above our unit 2 months ago, it's still not been tended to. Today we arrived to the parking area (5 whole spots) full of cars. So went up to the second level by Trader Joe's (more on TJs later) where the ONE parking space was available. Only to find out that elevator was out of service!! So managed to find our way to the office, only to be sent outside to walk all the way around the building, up the driveway... read more

Update: They've raised the rent AGAIN!! No warning, no email notification. It feels intentional...like they thought we wouldn't notice. Please tell these people they're too expensive and they raise the rent way too much...and go elsewhere. As soon as I'm able, I'll be moving my things to a new facility. I just don't have the means or ability right now. And a lot of places will give discounts for long term rental...not them, they just keep raising the rent. ;0(
