Very easy to set up and cancel account for short term storage rental. Staff is very friendly and units were clean and secure! Will be sure to use again if I have storage needs.

I have had a very good experience with Extra Space Storage. The place is very clean and the mgr Steve is very nice and very accommodating . I recommend this storage facility.
Great...so far. I called while on the road, a day away from MPLS and got connected to the site manager. Registration was quick with a drivers license number and a credit card. Because covid they preferred no contact, and honestly that's kinda great. Arrived, dialed my code and the doors opened into a large climate controlled warehouse and a one way lane leading to the exit garage door on the opposite side. Its about a football field in size. Our storage unit at Extra Space Storage (345 Industrial Blvd Minneapolis) was broken in sometime between May 2023-June 2023 along with other storage units. The staff has done their best to be accommodating, however, I would not choose to rent here considering multiple units have been broken into here. A police report has been filed. If you currently rent a unit here, please check your storage unit to confirm all of your things are in there. Up to $5000 worth of items was stolen from ours. They will raise your rate. For our small unit Extra Space Storage raised our rate from $71 to $95 ($24 increase, 34%). [See the attached notice of rate increase.] This rate hike will go into effect exactly four months after our initial lease was signed. If you want a clean unit with decent security and don't mind the arbitrary rent increases, this is a good option for you.
