We followed Peter from MDO as we really like the care he takes for his patients. Then when he brought Greg on to fit glasses it was even better. Eyeland is a class act and we are very pleased with the service.
I am 47 years old this was my first ever eye exam. The staff made for a pleasant experience. Dr Reid was fantastic and explained everything so it was easy to understand. No sales pressure to buy eye wear from them. Overall, a great experience.
Personable, friendly (and patient!) staff. Dr. Roed is amazing! Best eye doctor I have been to. Professional, knowledgeable. I left the office knowing more about my eye in one single appointment then the tens of appointments I've had in the past with different doctors. He gets the time to explain things to you. My sons love the kids play area. Definitely the clinic for our family!.
I was so impressed on my first visit. I even bought 2 pairs of glasses, however I went to trunk show to buy another pair. I waited patiently to be helped by Greg and my turn came up. Greg went to adjust my new glasses and dropped them on my table and started helping someone else behind me without a word. He was aware I wanted another pair of glasses, Fortunately a lovely young lady finally came to help me and I ordered another pair. I realize they were busy, but felt it was rude to leave me sitting there.
Excellent service all around
Services were great selection were spot on and learned a lot Good service thank you

Dr Roed's staff was able to schedule an emergency appointment that morning. Dr Roed examined my eye and let me know that I appeared to have a tear in the cornea of my left eye which had become infected. He prescribed a... read more

I felt like I was pushed into progressive lenses that I didn’t want or need. My vision is excellent for reading up close- this is completely unnecessary and as a result my glasses (with the progressive lenses) make me dizzy and disoriented.
I sent Eyeland an email on Saturday, June 15, describing my experience at Eyeland when I was "13 minutes late" for my Thursday, June 13 appointment, 10 minutes of which I had spent stuck out in terrible, construction-delayed, one-lane traffic on St. Albert Trail, only to be admonished as soon as I walked through the door, for being "13 minutes late" and that as you "were slammed" there was no way that I could consider leaving and coming back in 30 minutes or an hour... Staff seemed extremely stressed, the place was FULL of c... read more
