Works Great! Saves Money! Ha. This company is on a roll saving people time and money for lost glasses. I have read most all reviews, purchased the item, used it and I can say that it is awesome! ALL of the negative reviews are meritless. Let's face it, not all people can use a smart phone much less patience to actually read and follow instructions. This works perfectly!! I bought the EyeQue test kit, and it couldn’t have been easier to use! I’m someone who gets very motion sick when I go to the eye doctor and they flip the lenses and say “what’s better, this or this?” I dread it, and a lot of the time my prescription isn’t even that great. Enter EyeQue! The ease of use was 10/10. The device pops onto your phone and each test takes 5-7 mins to do. I found the device to be sturdy and well made. Tracking my visual acuity at home is easy and accurate I have 3 years experience with EyeQue products and I am thankful for the opportunity to track my visual acuity every 6 months at home. Combined with the super accurate pupil distance measurement, my eyeglass orders from on-line work and with the lower cost, I have a superior set of glasses compared with my earlier CostCo evaluation and prescription glasses!
Amazing product with fairly accurate readings I have presbyopia (in my 50's) and some hyperopia with astigmatism, each eye being also slightly different. In my tests using this device, I got nearly identical results to my optometrist exam taken several months ago. Except that spherical on one eye was just 0.25 diopters off and the astigmatism axis differed by 5-10 degrees. Love it Took a little while to figure out but that is why they have practice sessions. Ordered first pair of glasses and the vision results were spot on. The world is a clearer place.
Neat tech, slow, single user It's neat technology and matches the prescription from my ophthalmologist. As a new technology, there are some rough edges. It is hard to see the image in the scope and it makes some strange noises. When I was taking the test, it was hard to know if the noises were normal or a sign of malfunction. Two design aspects that I don't like are that they seem to want you to buy a separate unit for each person that uses it. Seems highly accurate! Worth buying. I was very skeptical about this product. It seemed too good for the price. So I bought it and tried it for myself. The prescription based on my first 3 tests compared to doing 2 more tests were different because I had a screen protector on, and off for the last 2 tests. If you buy this, find a phone above the recommended PPI and remove your screen protector. Takes a bit of time to learn but WORTH IT and very cheap.
Best vision ever! I am getting better vision results than I did at the optometrist. Well worth the time and money. Thank you EYEQUE!
