I asked the nurse several times to look into complications using any injectable for someone with Auto Immune Disease - the nurse never gave me an answer of any kind.
Extremely unhappy with the results of my rhinoplasty. My nose looks worse now than it did before
Dr. Antoniak did my rhinoplasty several years ago. My nose is now totally non-symmetrical. One nostril is several mm higher then the other. When I spoke to him about a revision he basically said that he did not feel confident that he could fix the mistake. I am now going to a new surgeon to fix his mistake and paying to fix my nose twice. I would not recommend this doctor. I feel that a cosmetic surgeon should take responsibility for his errors.
I had two rhinoplasties done by this doctor. I now have to go see another doctor (a plastic surgeon this time and not a cosmetic surgeon as there is a significant difference between the two) and pay $9000 to get my nose built up with ear and rib cartilage as too much cartilage was taken out during the two previous surgeries. He did my tonsillectomy and I told him not to give me T3 for pain because it would do nothing, and not to give me Amoxicillin for infection because it too would do nothing (I became immune to it, hence the reason for getting them out at the age of 24). He prescribed both to me and assured me they would work just fine. The T3 did NOTHING for pain, and I got grossly infected because the amoxicillin did not work either (surprise). When I went to see this doctor he was listed as a general practionner. As soon as you went into his office you knew that he was a pseudo plastic surgeon. I went to see him for sleep apnoea which he proceeded to push lazer surgery on me at a cost of $1,500 up front, no guarantees. He neglected to tell me that if I had the surgery for this condition that OHIP would pay the total cost. The only feeling I got out of him is that he was hungry for money.
