My wife had been suffering, with considerable pain and blood in her bowel movements, from hemorrhoids for years. The Gastroenterologist she had been seeing advised changes in diet, use of creams, etc., etc., none of which gave her any relief. Dr. Colvin, recommended by, Dr. David Schreiner, our Internal Medicine Physician, was able to determine exactly what the problem was during her first examination by him. Dr. Matzie (and the entire staff!) was kind and knowledgeable, she took the time to answer my questions and was fully present. She and the staff were quick and efficient during prep and surgery. Great place, I would highly recommend being taken care of by them.

It was excellent. She is a very capable and caring person and I profited from her expertise. An operation and recovery that usually entails some pain and discomfort had none of these adverse effects on me. I recommend her unequovically.

I periodically require an incision and drainage procedure. PA York has handled this for me expertly for several years. She is fast, effective, thorough and professional. I have never had a complication. Importantly, the need for this type of procedure arises unexpectedly. Fairfax Colon & Rectal has always fit me in on the same day or the next day.
Dr. Khalifeh and her staff treated me with the utmost respect.. She and her staff reassured me, normalized conversation about difficult topics, took time to answer all my questions, and provided me with clear-cut next steps for my care. I trust the decisions she made for my care. I would rather not need care from a colorectal surgeon but since I do, I absolutely feel I am in good hands.
My appt started early, which was great. Elisabeth is always very friendly and efficient.
