My one year old had an appointment at 2:15 and had to wait at least 45 minutes to be taken back. His ears were bothering him, and he had what sounded to me as croup. We almost took him to the ER the night before because of how bad he sounded breathing in AND his cough. His pediatrician was full yesterday so we decided to have him seen at Fast Pace. If I had been hurting it would have been a long wait. As for the people that took care of me were really nice!
No issue with nurse practitioner or her care. The facility was dirty and the bathroom unbelievable for a medical office.
The location was dirty, both in the waiting room and the exam room. The exam table wasn’t covered and there were visible greasy handprints all over it. The wait time seemed unnecessary, as we were the only ones in the waiting room. After the exam, the prescription wasn’t sent to the pharmacy. I tried calling 10 times, and no one would answer the phone. I drove back to the office to request a paper printout of the script so I could take it myself. The front desk and the MA were kind and helpful. The NP was very dry and short and seemed aggravated by me. She acted annoyed with everything I said and made me feel inferior with some of her remarks. Perhaps it’s her personality but As someone who has spent the last decade in healthcare, it comes across as poor patient care.
