I went today for the sickness I've been dealing with for 2 weeks and had a great experience. Nurses and Dr are nice and seem to care a lot about their patients.
Normally I would 100% recommend going here when you dont want to make a trip to the ER, but no more. I scheduled a visit for my daughter because she is sick, I left work early got to the clinic just to be told, oh our provider is leaving so we can't see you. Can't or won't? VERY disappointed!
Did not open at 8 as listed. Waited outside for 20 minutes, called inside to inquire about the delay. The person picked up the phone and hung it up. Called the Deridder location to inquire of the opening. She called the Leesville location and finally a staff member finally comes outside to tell us there is a provider on their way and will arrive within 30-45 minutes. The parking lot was full at this point, but it took me calling another location to get information. Left and went to a different UCC
Fast Pace has recently added a policy that a clinic is not allowed to tell you there is no X-Ray tech at that location. So after a 1 hr and 50 min wait, they are supposed to let the provider see you, then refer you to another Fast Pace location that has an X-ray tech on site. For me it was another clinic about 30 mins away. So 1hr 50 mins waiting at clinic 1, to be sent to clinic 2 30 mins away, to wait for who knows how long to have an X-ray. this place could definately stand to learn a little compassion for their patients. I'm an older man , almost 60 now , but I still try to work to pay the bills for my family and keep the kids in school . the older you get , the more problems your body gives you to keep working. I've been a contractor for 42 years , some of the things I have breathed in building houses , has close to destroyed my lungs and health. The staff is nice however the company needs to support the staff more. Businesses that do not support their staff with the proper amount of people hurt themselves. This is ridiculous! Your clerk is doing her job well, working hard and is obviously swamped. It is Tuesday December 22, 2020 and she made a very private call.to request additional support that I happened to overhear, and the voice over the phone denied her. Went in with all symptoms of the flu... all they did was swab for strep throat and gave me a shot of steroid. Never swabbed me for Flu. Went to the dr and I tested positive for flu.
Please don't hesitate to use this place. No need to travel to find the perfect place in that time of need because this is it. I can assure you 100% that you won't be disappointed.
