I visited the Fast Pace Urgent Care in Murray on 3/11/23. My symptoms included a sore throat, headache & neck pain. I told the doctor that my son had strep throat a couple weeks prior & I assumed I had caught it from him. She advised me there were no rapid strep tests in office, but they could do a swab & send it off to be tested. She said she would prescribe an antibiotic for me to treat it as strep & the clinic would call to let me know the lab results once they received them. Waited an hour past the apt. and decided to leave. After I asked about it, she said they were short staffed. Understandable, but should have told us that when we made the apt or when we checked in. I would have chosen to go elsewhere.
I am just getting home from a very upsetting experience at your facility in Murray today. I was called by my 5yr olds school nurse to come get her immediately as she had over 103 fever. I flew over there and ran straight to Fast Pace. I figured I would have to likely wait a while for her pediatrician, maybe even the next day, you guys had rapid covid tests, and the hospital was just not an experience we felt like we needed to have if we could avoid it. I have called on the day before and made an appointment for 10:20 am. I was there well before time. I checked in and went back to sit in my car. 30 minutes past my appointment time, I went back in. I was told they had tried to call me 2 times. My phone had never rung. At 1hour past my appointment time, I went back in. I was told I was up next. So I stood and waited. they do not call you back they do not wait till they close before they stop taking phone calls receptionist too quick to hang up on you she doesnt listen to what your saying. She assumed she heard me say something entirely different and I had to explain all over again poor customer service from all staff receptionist to nurses to doctors
RecommendedOnce upon a time, they were great. But not anymore. They need more than one practitioner seeing patients at each location. On-line reservation still means a LONG wait most of the time. And the past several times when truly sick and needing to "walk-in"... was told they couldn't fit us in. The whole premise "FAST Pace URGENT Care" originally began with is no longer in effect. Not to mention, the front desk staff at this location has been borderline unfriendly with an attitude of not caring.

Stayed in town for 3 hrs to be seen was told at that time I was next to be called. They called 2 more ppl over another 1 1/2hr still was waiting. When I asked why this was they couldn’t answer my questions. So unorganized will NOT be backing

I do not recommend! If you call it only directs you to a website. On Friday I did the online check in at 4:30 pm (which is the only way for you to be seen). They are supposed to send a text 20 mins to remind you of your visit. I received nothing. I tried again on Saturday by going inside and checking in around 10 am. I was texted with an estimated time of 3:36 pm and that I would again receive a text 20 mins before my visit. Again nothing. Terrible service. I got a rapid Covid test after waiting an 1 1/2 and got a nose bleed because she was rough
