The Nurse Practitioner (Lexi) was unprofessional and aggressive. She did not examine me and decided I had Covid. I tested negative for Covid but she said it can take several days to test positive. I was there because I had tested positive for strep a week ago and started to feel worse. She told me that “She writes the prescriptions.” I’m so disappointed in the “care” I received.
I got there waited for over an hour then taken to the back got on table to have x ray because I possibly broke my foot and the X-ray machine was broke. I had to leave and go elsewhere and ended up at ER .
There’s always a very long wait. They’re always short staffed and not enough people there to run the place. I don’t think the air was working this time when we went so it was very uncomfortable in the back of the building while we waited for the NP. The staff is usually very nice when we go.
To start things off, my name was completely spelled wrong, which causes complications when trying to pick up my medications. Second, when I was asked of my allergies, I said a specific medication. When I went to pick up my medication, one of the medications was in the family of the medication I clearly started that I was allergic to.
The waiting inside of the office after the nurse call is always too long. This time was again long and when finally the “doctor” came in said “there were 4 patients in front of you! So!”. What kind of answer is that! I know you’re always busy! But, this time was so long and my children were starving! So I said that and I got that answer! The worst was the attitude of the doctor. Tested positive for Covid. Was told I didn’t have an infection, go home and quarantine. My symptoms may be part of Covid but I know when I have a sinus infection. Bloody green snot coming from my nose and what I cough up tells me sinus infection. Was told didn’t need an antibiotic.
Not good a person sick has to fill out info on phone before seeing doctor.
Lexi helped me more than any of my regular doctors. She showed me she cares about her patients. Very thorough and I can see her moving up in the future. Totally impressed.
