I went in about 7:30 pm with flu symptoms. I was seen, tested, and diagnosed within an hour. I saw Dr. Kayla Lerro. She was very professional yet warm and compassionate.
Went for a Covid test to find no outdoor testing. Instead I was told to go into the building. What?! I might have COVID! But, I went in and was handed a clip board and a pen. I haven’t touched a doctors office clipboard in 8 months! They then said they would take me to a room to see a provider. Hello?!, you really want a possible positive covid case in your building? Absolutely terrible service! Entire staff was ambivalent about 1 hour and 45 minute wait after making a online visit time the night prior. Never again!
Unprofessional and unsafe practices My daughter tested positive so I went in for a rapid test yesterday. Was told I needed an appointment, so I booked one for this morning. Showed up for my appointment and was told they ran out of rapid tests yesterday - that they are walk-in tests. WTF Why are they having potentially infected people with covid walk in? The billing here is awful. They say they will reach out but no one does, then send you text messages threatening your credit score. I was lied to about the cost of a visit where they didn't do anything . I would avoid this place. For what they are trying to charge me, I could have gone and seen a actual doctor for 250 dollars less. They also doesn't even include the fact they ran my card without telling me, and tried to play it off that they were able to do that. I had a little accident and burned my hand with wax June 3. I went rushing to urgent care hoping they would be able to help me. I was in there a total of 10-15 minutes the most. I walked in and I walked out because the Doctor who was in charge couldn’t help me, she suggested I go to Chapel Hill or WakeMed because she didn’t know what to do. The staff, from the receptionist to the nurses and PAs, have all been very kind and attentive the few times I’ve gone. But I won’t be going again because the last couple of times I went, the receptionist were not wearing masks. When I asked one of the receptionist about, they said it was optional for them. This was disappointing and scary to hear because people with Covid symptoms are going to urgent cares to be evaluated and tested, and the receptionists interact with everyone that walks through the door.
