We moved in a year later than the scheduled date from our contact. After we moved in, we discovered a hole in our porch ceiling. We also have a large sinkhole in our front yard (there are several in the neighborhood as well as one in a neighbor’s driveway. Our background forms a pond after every rain from poor drainage. We were told they would remove the long black drainage tubes separating us from the neighbor’s yard That never happened. Good to know that you take the time to read your google reviews, but you fail to take the time to answer emails, despite having placed multiple requests through your warranty department. To be clear, Pam refused to give our money back. She specifically said "you will lose your deposit, because we will not give it back. We can sell your home for more than what we are charging". Kay Builders, and the CEO Rick Kozi(the Bernie Madoff of home builders). This company goes from Township to Township in PA, leaving unfinished construction sites and communities. Once the last house is built and sold, they pack up and leave. The townships don’t hold them accountable so they just rinse and repeat. They are starting a new community in Forks Township, and that one will be like all of their other unfinished communities.
We purchased our home as a quick delivery, so the house was already built and ready to sell when we found the listing. Pam and Tara in the sales office were great to work with and answered all of our questions promptly and thoroughly. The location of this development is ideal, the neighbors are so friendly, and the finishes inside the home are exactly what we would have chosen had we designed it ourselves. So happy to be part of this community!
