stay away GMS is horrible. Their complexes are trashy; overrun with centipedes, leaky ceilings, and horrible plumbing. the maintenance is lazy. The people at corporate are greedy and unreasonable. the office folks are horribly unorganized and rude. if you love your family, do not move into any of their properties.
Horrible Attitude! I WAS going to try and rent from this apartment complex, as I have had friends live there in the past, BUT my experience with the leasing was terrible. TERRIBLE. I called in looking to schedule an appointment and get some initial information and the leasing woman named Amy has the WORST personality. She couldn't keep her rental information straight and snappily told me I would have to hold on because she was dealing with multiple things at a time. One step up from the projects This is the most terrible horrible place in Austintown/Youngstown to live. I am literally counting down the days for my lease to be up as we speak. I have had nothing but problems since I've been here. Read the Reviews Please read and take seriously all the reviews. Like the previous reviewer I read them but moved in anyway. The office staff lied to us from the beginning. After we moved in and tried to resolve issues the office said you have to talk to management company. It took us weeks to get a hold of someone and when we did they said we had to talk to someone else. When we moved out we tried to inform them and meet the requirements of the lease but nine months later we received a bill for "damage" to the apartment and... read more
NOO The main problem is the office staff and the management company. I read bad reviews about GMS management before i moved in but I didnt listen to them and i wish i would have. One month when i sent in my rent check i accidentally left the amount blank, instead of calling me and telling me they needed another check they sent me an eviction notice. They let me pay the rent and stay but a simple phone call would have solved the problem in the first place. There were several other similar occurences that resulted from the off... read more
