Fox is a very dishonest company and we will never rent from them again! We rented a car from them in Salt Lake City Utah and did the 1/2 tank prepaid fuel so that all we had to do was bring the car back with a half a tank. We returned the car with a little over a 1/2 of tank of gas in it at 7:25 am because of having an early flight. When we got there the lady told us no one was there to check the car in yet and she would have to send us an email statement later. She would not go out and look at it herself. I will never rent from Fox again. Our car was full of little bugs and when I started calling customer service I was told I had to contact Roadside Assistance. After being on hold over an hour and leaving multiple messages a return call was never received until the next day at 1115. They did deliver another vehicle to us, but we lost a day and half of our trip because no one would answer a call. I can't imagine if we would have been stranded along the road in this situation!!! Easily the worst car rental company out there. First day I had the car, the catalytic converter was cut off at my hotel. Spent 3 hours jumping through hoops to get a replacement vehicle. I would never recommend Fox to anyone. I booked them thru Expedia and paid for my rental in full. When I went to pickup my car they were closed and was unable to get a vehicle when my flight arrived. Had to spend **** on a hotel next to the airport so I could get my car in the morning (there was no customer service available at 10pm and Expedia couldn't help me. I am showing that all charges on this rental were signed for at pick up, a refund of the prepaid fuel has been issued to you as we do show it came back as full. Prepaid fuel is a service so typically is non refundable. You should see a refund in 2 to 4 business days. Thank you.
I rented a car and unfortunately, I was rear-ended the day I got it. I call the towing company and asked to return the car to Fox Rent a Car. In the meantime, I called the fox and asked them to give me a refund or sent me a new car. However, They did not send me the new car and charge the full amount of my reservation. I've had the absolute worst customer service experience of my life with Fox Rent a Car. I pre-paid for my reservation through ********** but when I picked up my car, Fox didn't honor this, and charged me again for the base rental rate. On top of that, they sold me on a very expensive upgrade I didn't need, there were many hidden fees, and when I tried to explain this to them, they would not listen to me nor would they offer any refund for being overcharged. Fox has charged you for the additional 2 days of rental (at the same rate as your original reservation) plus the late charge for each day the vehicle was not returned as expected at $25 per day. I was asked a little over 100 for a compact sedan for 1 day. With 150 deposit. They are trying to say that the navigation was missing. There was no navigation only Android auto screen which was there bc I had my phone plugged into it to listen to my GPS to navigate. They are charging me over 500$.

When you show up to pick up the car they require you to have a physical credit card to pay hundreds of extra dollars that they do not disclose when booking online. They won't even take a debit card to pay the money with a credit card on file. Ridiculous policy that left us stranded.
