The car that they gave me was very nice and clean. The whole process on renting the car was good the only problem was when I returned the car my price went from $289 to $480 or something like that as they were charging me a full tank of gas even if I returned it with a full gas tank. Before I left the airport and talking to the FOX Representative she told me they will reimburse me my deposit as she got confirmation that the car had a full tank from her manager. I will be suing Fox rental for fraud. I have evidence that they illegally and falsely charge customers like me and have evidence that the management will not do anything to fix it despite their own employees telling the managers it's a false charge.

NEVER AGAIN! I arrived late at night with my best friend and both our moms... You not only did not have the vehicle I reserved, but the one you gave me had an old nail in the tire and the next day, after only driving a few miles, the tire split open. You left us stranded for over two hours, your roadside assistance employees were HORRIBLY rude and unwilling to help, a stranger had to come help us put a fix a flat and I personally drove to a nearby shop and paid out of pocket for the tire to be repaired. This is the letter I wrote to Fox Car Rental: DO NOT RENT FROM FOX, TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Just received a bill in the mail for a toll charge incurred when I rented a car in Denver CO for the dates 2/27-3/5. Although I'm not complaining about the $4.65 charge for the toll, that $15 Admin fee is ridiculous!!!. The sales agent never told me any such fee would be assessed.....I asked him several times about tolls, and his answer was always "you will be charged tolls based on license plate scanning on the roadways". Tolls are not billed by Fox Rent a Car, all toll information is on the rental agreement as well as the rental policies. Literally the worst customer service I have ever received. I flew to a new city and showed up to get my rental car for them to tell me they ran out of cars. They told me to get an uber to where I needed to go ($300) I called to complain they said there is nothing they can do. Never ever going there again

NOT WORTH IT!!! After waiting 4 hours to pick up my rental car, I was led to the underground parking garage to get the keys, and no rep to do a walk around. As soon as I got into the light I found it to be completely filthy inside. Animal hair, layers of dust, sticky stuff. Obviously it wasn't cleaned, no COVID protocol taken. I have never worked with a car rental co that does business like this! I don't even know where to start with this company. If I could give less than 0 stars I would. We rented from Fox on 2/27/2021. We waited an hour at the airport to be picked up (he said he would be approximately 10 minutes). Then we get the rental car site ( which is advertised as being at SLC airport ). We waited in line an hour and a half to get a car. As the CSR is reviewing our reservation he had to go outside to check to see if they had the type of vehicle we rented? If we reserved it shouldn't it be held? Lucky for us ... read more

How do I give a business 0 Stars? Fox Rent a Car is USELESS. We booked a car through travelocity. We called them to try to add my spouse as a second driver and as the person who would pick up the rental. Fox Rent a Car refused to allow the person picking up the car to be changed. Then they just outright canceled the reservation We tried to fix things through Travelocity, but Travelocity told us the cancellation was made on Fox's end of the deal and they couldn't do anything about it. After waiting over an hour and half to pick up my reservation, I was told that I could not use my debit card to secure my reservation (which was not told to me at any point during the reservation making process). Used my boyfriends credit card to secure the reservation, and was NOT informed that he had to be added on as a second driver to the reservation. I am very sorry that you were unaware of the debit card policies for the booking. This information is in the rental policies which must be agreed upon before booking. Local renters may not use a debit card for their bookings. I do apologize you were not aware but Fox does have this information in the rental policies. Thank you.
