Made reservations for a 4 door jeep wrangler got to airport they did not have any Jeeps gave me a small vehicle not equivalent to a jeep for sure!! And being I was going out of town that day I had no choice but to pay 130.00 more for upgrade!! This is 2nd time having issue renting cars from this company....lesson learned do not go with fox!! Never have car you reserve.

$15 "administrative fees" for a $6 toll that I can't even pay by cash because that's just not an option is a total rip-off!! This should be illegal!!

The worst. Waited in line 20 minutes. Took 10 minutes to complete paperwork. Then waited 30 minutes for the car to be washed. It ended up being filthy inside, with low washer fluid and tire pressure. I couldn’t wait to return it. But I sure waited 30 minutes for their shuttle to take me to the airport following dropoff. The facility looks like it should be condemned. Avoid.

The car was dirty inside and out. The gas tank was barely full enough for the needle to be on the full mark. The needle was well below the full mark after driving only 10 miles. When I filled the tank, I drove over 60 miles before the needle began to drop from the full mark.

refund money when you don't allow people to get their rental. I will never use Fox or carrental.com again

So again after speaking finally with someone from corporate I wasted a couple of hours messaging back-and-forth while she ran from her corporate play book and offered me $89 in compensation on a $441 rental. The leak in the vehicle ruin between four and $500 worth of our merchandise and the best she could do was $89 wow!!! Do not rent a car from these people

Fox rent a car has the worst customer service ever!!! My mother rents a vehicle from them and returns it this morning before her flight. She calls to tell me the person who checked her car in was very rude and didn't give her a receipt when she ask for it. He told her she doesn't need it she'll get an email. Biggest mistake ever. They charged her an extra $128 for items that she did not approve.I called customer service with her on the phone and we encountered the worst customer service representative. #FoxNeverAgain First, we got the un-cleaned car. The car then broke down and roadside assistance arrived two days later!! Per their advice - we exchanged car (another 3 hours lost). Agents at the SJC location had no ideas on how to compensate two lost days. Trying to call Customer Service - prepare to wait for hours. Interesting fact - you can connect to their Reservations on the phone in a minute, but have to wait for hours for Customer Service. This is a company concerned with sales, not customer service. Fox is a dishonest unethical company that rents you cars that belong in a junk yard. Long story short, we prepaid for the rental and insurance. They bamboozled us into more insurance which wasn’t clear on the filthy little pin pad you sign on. When it was brought to their attention that we already had total loss insurance in place and a receipt to prove it they refused to refund the money.
