Freedom Care pimps you. They don't care and will promiss you the world. Pay you 1/5 of what they make. Filth that spends taxpayers money for people to get pain for doing 10% of what they claim. They make 60 bucks an hour and pay you 12. That's why they and other CDPAP agencies act like they care. Garbage program killing taxpayers.

You don’t have to go to their office; they come to your house, I don’t have to leave my mom side.

To any caregivers or Freedom Care--Question, if on CDPAP program and patient/family member goes to hospital/rehab case put on hold. Until family member comes home and case is opened can I as caregiver collect unemployment? How or what do I have to file? I asked my coordinator and she did not know. Have been with Freedom Care over a year and work 36 hours a week. Could use the $ and I really can't get another short term job. Will take all the help I can get.

i would not recommend this company..the department where the faxes go is not responsible at all and it takes 2 days or more for the person placed as your "worker" to call you back. i would rather see people go through a more reliable agency with way less hassle and stress

Between three employees, in a waiting period of about a month, I never received the paperwork for my mothers doctors to fill out for her, I could never get a hold of anyone, to the point where I was emailing, calling, and texting two different people every day for 6 days and only got a response that they didn’t know why I haven’t received the paperwork yet. And upon sending the paperwork two more times, still never received it. It would have been nice to be able to quit my job and be my mothers full time care taker before sh... read more

Freedomcare is incompetent and deceptive. If you want help for somebody look elsewhere. Unfortunately they don't take their job serious. They take off for any little holiday. If they see you calling they will purposely not answer the phone unless you call them on private or a different number. If you leave a message they will never ever reply back to you. Aren't knowledgeable about stuff they should be required to know. I'm very upset I didn't got the help I should've gotten. I had to fax them $40 worth of papers and with m... read more
