Our meal was delicious and our waitress was superb- a wonderful evening***
Excellent food, service and ambience. Great music in the bar area. Owners are very hands-on, friendly and care about patrons having a great experience at their restaurant.
All the food was prepared perfectly from the jumbo prawn appetizer to the lamb chop entree. My favorites were the escargot and the scallops, I will 100% return for those two things. The fondue was good but needed a stronger heat source to keep it warm and melty. If you are on the fence about going, just go. The quality of food was well worth the price.
Great meal, great service, thank you. My only regret is leaving our leftover bag on the seat next to me. Just means we have to go back sooner than planned.
food was delicious, well prepared and well presented. Great music fun atmosphere.
Been dining here for many years, but sadly it has gone down hill. Food was okay, not great, service very slow. Over priced and rude management. Our bill was $150 and when we asked the owner what happened to the complimentary bread sticks they served for years, he got defensive and rude. Not interested in customer feedback and no appreciation of customers. Won't recommend and won't return. So many other great restaurants in the area
This place recently became our routine stopover on the way home from the ski trip. We really like the food, the wine list, the general ambience etc. We'll probably be back !
Our favorite resturant in Nevada City/Grass Valley area.
Set in a cute, historic town, this restaurant did not disappoint. We got the escargot, which was perfectly seasoned and buttery and the steak fries. The wine was delicious and the server helped me choose which to pair with our dinner. Service was a little on the slow side but it was okay. We weren't there to rush in and out.
