Such a gem in Nevada City with charm and a family- owned touch of personality. Our filet was perfect and the fondue is creamy and delicious. My dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives was perfection and my husband loved his spicy margarita. Service was prompt and food was efficiently served. Thank you Chad and team!
So disappointed in the new menu! Miss the oil fondue and cheese fondue and chocolate fondue options. We’ve been celebrating life events here since the 70’s for our whole family and friends. Always enjoying the communal dining. Celebrating my son’s 26th his first choice is always FT. It started with great ambience. The service was excellent rom the initial interaction with the hostess all the way through waiter, bus boy and being personally greeted and engaged by Ken, the owner. The food was excellent, especially the double cut pork chop and filet mignon but also the seasonal salad and desserts. We will go back.
Prime rib had the best taste with a twist. The service was top notch and the atmosphere was perfect.
Excellent everything, service tyo food to noise level to wait time all excellent no negative feelings
Friar Tucks consistently serves very good quality food. The service was excellent. My only complaint is that their new menu has drastically reduced the number of items offered. No specials were offered. Prices are higher, which is expected. However, now everything is a la carte. My husband ordered scallops. He had to order a vegetable separately, no salad or soup included. This was one of our favorite spots in the area. Rather disappointed.
What a great time we had celebrating ab 80th birthday! Good selection of drinks and wines. Amazing food and appetizers. The staff was exceptional and I think they enjoyed us as much as we enjoyed them. Excellent experience.
The service was excellent. Appetizers were good. Our main dish’s were disappointing.
We had a lovely time here. The onion bread was amazing! Steaks were great. Fun place!
