Both Dr. McDonald and the nurse were very conforting and professional. Having 2 teeth pulled was not nearly as painful as I expected.

I had a severe toothache and felt sure it was infected. I called a dentist I had seen a year ago in Fayetteville and was told they could work me in 5 days. I called 24 hour dental clinic in Fayetteville on Saturday. They informed me I could be seen that day, but even though I had dental insurance, I would need to pay $500.00 since they could not verify my insurance over the weekend and it would 3-4 weeks before I could a refund. Poor scheduling policy. I had scheduled an appointment to have a filling replaced in which the office schedule an hour for this procedure. Dentist recommended extraction instead. At that time I was told she didn't have time and I would have to reschedule. My remaining appointment time was cut short instead of proceeding with extraction which as admitted by Dr. would have taken less time than prepping and refilling/rebuilding tooth. The dentist started fillings on too many patients at one time. After he drilled out my old fillings, the dental hygenist prepared the fillings while the dentist attended other patients. I waited for approximately 15 minutes with my mouth packed with cotton before the dentist came back to finish the fillings.

The staff is friendly, they offer the latest technology but the wait time is horrible. My son was in there for almost 2 hours for a 6 month checkup. He said he set in the room for at least 30 minutes before anyone came in.

Lady dr repleced 5 old metal fillings 3 top right and 2 lower right @ one time. I have to say the numbing stung pretty bad. However, the work itself was pretty ok. After, was very sore.. Nothing like the ones I had replaced n the past.. Couldn't open jaw to eat.. Chewing food felt like metal.. Not sure if was bc I had so many done at once or wht. I called on a Monday with an ache in a tooth, and concerned about it, and the office worked me in the next day for an examination. Couldn't ask for better than that. While there, I asked to be scheduled for a teeth cleaning visit and they made an appointment for a few weeks out. Left office and by the time I got home, there was a phone message asking if I'd like an appointment for Thursday.
