This place never follows through, never returns calls, says one thing and does another, wish washy on charges, messages never get to their staff/ doctors . I would never recommend this place unless it’s a one time necessary visit due to convenience…otherwise finds a place with some standards.

The visit itself was very good. They were gentle with my 13 year old lab. Dr. Andrée was very friendly. However, when it was a time to pay, there was unexpected charges for tests that were done that I specifically said I did not want done. I told the vet tech that I would like to do the senior blood panel to check functions and a urine analysis for UTI. Impossible to get an emergency appointment and the receptionist doesn't even care that they "are booked". My dog was exposed to something he is allergic to and has been reverse sneezing constantly during the night, even after Benadryl. Called first thing in the morning for appt and receptionist states they are booked and tried to make appt a week out. In my opinion, for an animal having an allergic reaction, they should've made an attempt to work me in.

We have used this clinic for two years and the service from the medical staff has been excellent. The service from the front office staff is hit and miss. Until the last 3 visits, the indifference from the front office staff was tolerable but it has now degraded to the point of being unbearable. In June I took my lab for a lesion on his lip followed by a dental cleaning a couple of days later. We are from KY on vacation to Galveston. My dog from time to time needs apoquel for itchines. He needed it and there where no appointment available at the clinic and that was fine. We callEd our vet back in KY and they where willing to fax a prescription for the meds. I called and talk to the vet in Galveston and was told the meds could be filled with the prescription sent from our vet in KY. I have been going there for 15 years and loved it. Now, I would not take any of my pets. They lost all their files, the front desk staff are very unprofessional and threaten us that if we didn't get all and some unnecessary vaccinations, we couldn't stay with them no longer, so we decided for a better vet and the great doctors are no longer there anymore so it wasn't that hard.
