I’ve been going to Galveston Veterinary Clinic for 13 Years and the have received excellent care. This passed Wednesday we came home from work and found our oldest dog unable to walk or move. They saw us even though they were about to close. Kept in daily contact to ensure he’s improving. The staff are the most caring people I’ve ever met. Thank you

They should read the study in the JFMS done by their colleagues and see the devastation they are causing by declawing, they do not have the best interest of their cat clients in mind. "Pain and adverse behavior in declawed cats"-JFMS-May 2017. BY THE WAY, IT IS YOUR EHTICAL PEERS WHO WANT DECLAWING BANNED, NOT ANTI-DECLAW ADVOCATES...

Wouldn't take my animals anywhere else. They actually care about your animals more than money. After a horrible experience with another Galveston vet clinic before I came here it's nice to know vets that are qualified and reliable.

Business response:

We are so glad to hear you've enjoyed your experience with our clinic! We look forward to seeing you and your pets again soon!

Never again. I refuse to make an appointment, arrive early for the appointment, to an empty waiting room, and sit 30 minutes having never seen a vet. My time is just as important as a vet's time. Additionally, i didn't request my vet when scheduling this appointment because i wanted my fur baby to be seen more rapidly than my vet could see us. This is a serious mismanagement of time. Plenty of people at front desk. Nobody knows what is going on.

Business response:

Robin, you are absolutely right in that your time is just as valuable as ours. As discussed on the phone, we are truly sorry for the lapse in communication on our end during your visit and want you to know we take this feedback seriously. We are going to work hard and learn from this experience to ensure it does not happen again.

Our dog has chronic dry eyes and when we left for 2 week vacation we forgot her eye drops. We contacted Galveston Veterinary Clinic to get more drops. First they told us we needed a prescription from our vet. So we called our vet in Rayne. They were so helpful and offered to call the vet in Galveston, which they did. I drove to the clinic in Galveston and was told NO, they can't fill the eye drops without seeing the dog. So I left and called Dr Rumore back. He called Galveston again and faxed the prescription to them. So, I... read more
