They steal art to promote their business, robbing them of revenue and opportunities to better their lives.
Business response:
Thanks for your concern, and we’re so happy @raesploveart brought this to our attention. The image was available as a free download on the website, unsplash.com. We have also reached out Rachel and let her know where it was obtained. She immediately responded back and appreciated us letting her know. We recognize the value of individual art work and would NEVER use it without appropriate permission. Again, thanks!
They do not allow medical strollers, which are wheelchairs. My family will not visit Gardner Village until they comply with the ADA. No one deserves discrimination.
Business response:
HI Amy L Woods, we charge for parking during the seven busiest days of WitchFest so that a professional crew can help us manage the lots and ensure there is enough accessible parking for those guests with disabilities. All guests who visit on the seven days are asked to pay for parking. We do not have entrance fees, admission fees or have guests pay for the experience to see our witch displays and do the scavenger hunt. The parking is nominal at $5 per car. That fee pays for ABM Parking to manage the lots and ensure the safe... read more
Over crowded, no enforcement of rules of social distancing or mask wearing. I would not recommend.
This year was horrible. We paid $12 when we couldn’t even visit the witch house. That was the whole reason we came and it wasn’t even explained to us before we paid. Not to mention the rude people monitoring the bubble jump. What a waste. I will not be coming back and I will be telling everyone I know what a horrible experience this has been.
Years past it was fun but going downhill. Now they are charging for parking which isn't reflected on the website so the other option is to park along 78th and navigate the shoulder without sidewalks. A member of our party is in a wheelchair asked the lady in the parking booth for accessible parking and the rude employee stated " the law requires we ha e parking but it doesn't state it has to be free". We won't be back
Went to WITCH'S NIGHT OUT for an early BIRTHDAY SURPRISE GET-TOGETHER. PRETTY FUN "UNTIL".......ARCHIBALDS AWFUL FOOD AND JUST A DREADFUL EXPERIENCE! TOO MUCH TO LIST! WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN! SO SAD, FAMILY TRADITION. 2 YRS IN A ROW THOUGH? AWFUL!
Charging 5 bucks for parking during October seems a tad greedy, but more over at least take cards not just cash, especially since there was no notices about the change this year.
Just had the most horrific experience at our annual Witches night out. Our waitress Margret was terrible. Her attitude was beyond unacceptable. She was very RUDE and sarcastic. Drinks (watered down mixers) appetizers came out the same time as our dinner - which was also luke warm. The bread was delicious and hot when it finally arrived after we asked for it and our meal was half finished. Mixed up guests on checks.....
Witchfest this year was not as fun as the previous years. The witches house wasn't open to walk through and there weren't very many things to do this year. We didn't get our moneys worth.
