We visited on Halloween Monday, after all the shops were closed, unfortunately. The witch displays were very cute, and the decorations in general were lovely. After seeing the other reviews, I'm glad we didn't try to go during the festival times, as my fiancée has health issues and would probably not have been able to handle the crowds.
Wee witches weekend was insane! Lines for everything and then to find out many were CASH only was ridiculous! Love seeing all the witches and fun activities but lines were so long, we couldn't wait. Didn't bring cash, so had to park in the boonies and walk in. I don't think we will be attending this weekend again and if we come back it'll be during the week in the middle of the day. Maybe we'd enjoy it more.
The area is nice and the shops are fun to walk through. However, I was told by ne of the staff members that the only way to get water is to purchase a bottle of water from the shops. For as many people that are here you would think they would have a water fountain somewhere. Parking costs $5 and most everything here is over peiced. They know people will pay for it. Because of these things I did not leave wanting to come back.
I was so disappointed this year. We have come in years past and it has been a fun and free Halloween experience for the whole family. The cute witch scavenger hunt and browsing in the shops was always a fun tradition and in my opinion none of the extras even needed to be added.
