The food was excellent and the service was very friendly!
All the food looked nice and well cooked but everything was over salted including the bread rolls. Risotto was inedible and the steaks were cooked perfectly to temp but again thr salt was too much.
The steaks (medium rare) were excellent (prime rib very tender). My porterhouse was on the rare side of medium rare, which was fine for me. For someone looking for it a little more done, it's easier to pop it back on the grill than to deal with an over cooked steak. The loaded baked potato was massive. The bread was amazing (perfectly seasoned to go with steak and wine). Sundays are half-price bottled wine night, so I bought a pricier wine than normal and it was excellent. My husband and I visited 2/25, the staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered the prime rib dinner and Porterhouse steak and it was cooked to perfection and the crab cakes are mouth watering.
Our waiter DJ was fantastic. His skill level of service and knowledge of the menu was impeccable. Although the food was not as good as I would have liked it he made the experience wonderful. The rib needed more seasoning and the risotto was over cooked. the shrimp and grits sat too long and it was clumpy. The shrimp itself tasted unseasoned. We enjoyed another memorable dining experience at our favorite restaurant, Garrison Oak Stewkhouse! As always, Carlos, Izzy, and QT provided us with the best restaurant experience humanly possible. We celebrated our tenth wedding anniversary, and we chose a wonderful place to celebrate. The food is perfectly prepared, beautiful presented, and simply delicious. We had a reservation for 7:30 we arrived at 7. I thought maybe they could seat us early since it wasn’t busy. Open tables everywhere they told us to come back at 7:30. We waited in the bar area the lady working the drinks did a taste test of wine and used the same straw. Gross! Honestly I felt bad for the person getting that glass of wine. Our server was great but the bar area and person working the front need better training or get someone better.
