Always a great selection, helpful friendly staff and competitive pricing. Love going to the Closter location on my lunch break.
We were looking for a specific vineyard's red zin and asked an employee who took us right to it and was very knowledgeable. So when the one we were looking at was too expensive for us, he recommended another zin that was in our price range.
Gary's (Closter< NJ) has a very good selection in a number of varietals and producers. I would like to see a better selection of Gruner Veltliners and Rieslings, especially from upstate New York and Long Island and white Bordeaux.
My husband and I visited your store in Closter for the holidays, and while going around we met Alex who recommended red wines. We were shopping for gifts for friends and neighbors. He was friendly and informative, he also let us sample a red wine (ravel &stitch) we bought a few bottles.
Good selection of some of our hard to find wines.
A young associate helped me as soon as I entered. He looked up a wine for me, but unfortunately you did not carry it. In the Chardonnay aisle, an older man asked if I needed assistance. He made a recommendation but his demeanor was not welcoming. Disappointed that store did not carry Angel’s Envy rye or bourbon. Found it a Bottle King.
Great selection. Fun interaction with store personnel. Fun place to shop.
