The color I got did not look like the color I picked out. It is nearly black.... too dark. I wanted about a level 5-6 and we talked about that. She added 4 to the mix and because my hair is long, naturally curly and color treated, it pulled really dark. It looks ok, but is WAY darker than the photo we choose. She should have compared at the end, asked if I was ok with that. I did not see the educator and student communicate nor did the educator ask what color I wanted. Corrine is my stylist. She listens and creates what I want with my hair.
I was very happy with the services I received (haircut, beard trim, mani and pedi). I would recommend the Gene Juarez academy since it's a good price and it helps student stylists learn.
Appoitments should start promptly. I waited 25 minutes to be greeted by my stylist. In the end her skill level in giving exactly what I asked for in color and cut made up for being inconsiderate of my time. Very pleased with my hair. I will be back in 6-8 weeks to see Jax again. Thank you.
Great place to go. If a service does not work out, they will fix it.
Susie is an amazing hair stylist. I'm so happy with my cut and color that I am bragging to everyone about who did my hair.
My only disappointment was that the Groupon expired relatively soon and it needed to be used in one appt. I usually do haircuts so had a hard time finding something to use for $50 value.
I love my hair!
Both students that my daughter and I saw were fabulous!
