I went in for a $100 tooth extraction and cleaning where they tried to sell a root canal that I made clear I did not want. The dentist told me it would be covered under my insurance. Knowing how terrible my insurance is I declined the root canal despite their continued attempts to sell it to me. They performed a CBCT X-ray which they told me was for the tooth extraction (it wasn’t needed). They are now charging me $767 as my insurance did not find the X-ray necessary (because it’s not).
