overcharged, very rude, vet dropped my dog, the building is rundown and dirty
This USED TO be my vet but WILL NEVER GO BACK! My dog needed emergency care from a dog bite and when I rushed her there, they would not even look at her! They said they had no time to see her! I was crying begging them to at least look at her, they said I'm sorry we have appointments already and don't have the time! They gave me a business card for a grand rapids vet! This is my dogs face after it literally exploded a few days ago. Backstory.....seven weeks ago, we took our dog, Rosie, to Glenpark Animal Hospital with swelling on the left side of her face. She was given a steroid but no anabiotic. The steroid helped the swelling go down after she had taken it a few days. Then last Wednesday, her face started to swell up again so bad that we have to get her into a visit at Glenpark on Friday. It is certainly unusual that she would have an abscess that came and went over several months, but we are glad it wasn't something more serious. The staff seem friendly, however, I believe that I am being lied to. I took one of my females to get spayed and it cost me nearly $500 because I had to get her shots and everything. Later on, I called them to do her 2 female kittens. After the kittens had surgery, they called to tell me about how the surgery went, told me it went fine and that they noticed fleas on the kittens. I adopted my puppy from the humane society and brought him here to be fixed because this is where the humane society said I needed to bring him. They gave my puppy a rabies vaccine while fixing him because the humane society ordered it out of habit. They never checked his medical history with me before administrating the vaccine. RecommendedTried to get in last Friday, but they were booked until this Friday. Called yesterday because it was an emergency and they were able to fit us in. Our sweet baby reptar contracted Parvo and we had been treating it at a different vet office but when they surprise charged us and wouldn’t do anything for her until we paid we rushed her to Glenpark. we brought our female in to get neutered and they paralyzed our dog and then tried to tell us are dog had a rare blood disorder, after taking her to Michigan state university and spending 1,600.00 they told us that the vet messed up, not even a apology from Glenpark animal hospital, I would never recommend them to anyone.
