Better think twice Although the hotel description uses a Travel Channel recommendation, I would think twice about this hotel. We stayed in the overflow area of the hotel for one night. The door let in light from the outside on three sides. Paint was chipping off the wall in the bathroom. The shower head was a little bit stronger than a misting rain. Yet, there was a nice sized kitchenette.
Bavarian Bliss! Late night drive from Colorado to Utah was so SLOW with road construction, that hours later and way behind schedule, I pulled off the freeway, into Glenwood Springs around midnight, saw that the little town was all asleep, and turned on my Hotels.com app! There was a room available at the Glenwood Springs Inn, so I booked it! This hotel was a lot better than years ago we stayed there. Updated, friendly staff and owner. Congratulations for the beautiful curtains!!! Hotel is about walking distance from the Hot Pool. Other amenities: the gondola, and the 11 hot tubs built by the gondola owner...which we didn't get to see, maybe next time. Breakfast was a little skimpy, but OK.
nice hotel at good location stood for one night after hiking to Hanging Lake and chilling at Iron Mountain Hot Springs. Breakfast was simple but good.

Great for family budget Hotel was great for a no frills budget stay. And free breakfast. Room was clean and comfy, just small.
Great Value! This motel was very nice, clean and updated. The free breakfast was great. The mattresses were very firm. The staff was helpful and friendly. They would not accept tips. They provided transportation to and from the train station. They also provide vehicles to rent.
