Very nice family owned hotel Pros: Friendly and quick check in. Easy access to interstate and close to downtown shopping and dining. Cons: TV channel selections very limited. Nothing fancy but I good, comfortable hotel with a very helpful and friendly staff.
Happy with our room. The room was good sized and very clean.
Weekend glenwood visit We arrived 5 minutes after check in and no one was at the front desk to check anyone in. We waited 15 minutes before someone showed up. The best part about this Hotel was it's location to the adventure park, down town and hot springs. The room also was very clean. Breakfast was bagels and cereal but Village Inn is in walking distance. Bathroom: The water in the shower runs hot and cold.
economical no frills motel Pros: Quiet, economical and close to highway and restaurants Cons: More varied selections for continental breakfast Location: Came for business, did not sightsee Very quiet. Came for a couple nights. The bed was made, towels changed, but other than that don't know how well the room was cleaned. Bed very comfortable.
Reasonably close to "hot springs" Pros: Clean Cons: Coffee pot in room. Softer pillows. Location: Hot springs are primary attraction. Chair lift to "adventure park" within a few blocks. Distance to "hot springs" was reasonable. Walk to "downtown" restaurants was reasonable. Room was clean but limited amenities. Bed and pillows were quite "firm".
Friendly Have stayed there three different times. Always a friendly place.
As clean as it gets Pros: Cleanliness, location Cons: Better breakfast facility and better choice of TV stations. Location: Great location from which to undertake the major activities the town has to offer - all within an easy walk of the motel (no more than 10 minutes). The motel is old and dated, but it has a reputation for cleanliness which is obvious when you walk into your room. The rooms are well-kept and the plumbing still works fine.
