Nice hotel, big room and pet friendly Very nice and very large room with refrigerator and microwave. It appears that the room, and maybe much of the hotel, was recently renovated. Very clean and all in good working order. The room's size bears repeating as there was plenty of space for our large dog kennel with a huge area to spare. You can easily walk to the Hot Springs pool from here, or continue right into downtown Glenwood via the pedestrian bridge over the Colorado River.
Great place to stay We really enjoyed our stay in Glenwood Springs. This hotel is a convenient, reasonably priced place to stay, with a spacious room and a refrigerator and a microwave. When we first came, our sink was running a bit slow, but when we told the front desk, it was taken care of right away. We could walk to downtown, and dining and entertainment was conveniently nearby.
Exactly what we needed. Very basic but also very clean and close to everything. Fridge & microwave & free WIFI. Basic cable but you're not there for the TV lineup:). It would have been nice to have a drawer or two but I was very pleased with our stay overall. MUST try the Bavarian Restaurant next door for breakfast!
A good motel, close to the interstate No pool, breakfast disorganized, no in room coffee, but overall, a good place to spend a night. We stopped on our way further west, hoping to enjoy the springs, BUT it's not a nice walk (traffic & distance) and the springs are ungodly expensive! This is a cute town to visit, lots of 'green tourism' opportunities, little shops, etc. I appreciate the family-run atmosphere, and if passing through town, and the price was right, I'd stay again.
