Old but nicely maintained; saved some money Old building but nicely maintined. AC was slow but did its job. We had booked 2 rooms, they gave both adjacent, but the best part was, both rooms had were connected from inside. There was some detergent smell as soon as we entered. We had to keep the doors open and turn the AC on for a while to get rid of the smell.
Good for couples, firm beds Pros: Owner & staff, nice firm mattress Cons: Older tv Location: Fairly central to other activities Very clean, updated room, bathroom new tile & fixtures, tv tube model, wifi was fast, friendly staff, continental breakfast was ok, still an older motel.
great for famalies Took my 14 year old daughter to see Glenwood for Labor Dayweekend...enjoyed our stay at this quaint motel steps away from all the best attractions,,,hot springs pool and the new glenspg. adventure park to start...great food 1-5 minute walk...been coming here for 25 years but havent visited in 10 years, still enjoy the visit and will stay here next time
Older, but ok Older property. Family owned and operated. Nice people. Nic place to stay.
no breakfast. the t.v. got very few channels, the Air Conditioner was almost ready for the junkyard, and they didn't offer much variety for breakfast.
Amenities Lacking Location: Easy on - easy off of interstate Room was clean - nothing special. No clock/alarm and no hair dryer - could not get a dryer from front desk until it opened at 7am. Not good for an early riser that wants to get on the road.
Close to all sights, Hotel staff extremely helpful and polite
Walking distance to most of the best sites We had a very nice stay! The reservation arrived after we did and the owner was very hospitable! Due to a room being available, we were able to check in early. Beds were comfortable, bath was clean and well supplied, and temperature was easily controlled. With windows open overnight, traffic did not bother either of us! We would stay again!
