It has some quirks but RingCentral is the best option I've seen for remote business communication in terms of reliability and user friendliness. I'm an employee, not a business owner, so I can't comment on the costs vs. other VOIP options, but based on performance I would recommend this product to anyone.

Very well integrated app incorporating phone, video, messaging, calendar, task listing, and minimalist project management. Works seamlessly around the world with same phone number. Good integration with gsuite. These two are the only infrastructure most SMBs will need.

Great for work and transferring calls
Got us out of trouble with an old skool telephone system that couldn't cope with our enforced WFH. Quick, easy and very, very functional.

Trying to do too much... If I could have the old RC Phone app back, it was more user friendly. None of my messages were ported from the old app to this app. If you want real time collaboration, Google has it down pat, use Google apps like hangouts or sheets or docs, etc depending on what you want to collaborate on.
