Terrible customer service and pushy sales tactics, even when you try to cancel. Wouldn't ever recommend and complete waste of money.

I went in as a new client after work on a Monday and was absolutely horrified but the customer service. I couldn't even get a sentence out without the two rude blonde girls at the front laughing and cutting me off. I asked a few questions and after being treated like trash, I left. I had worked in a tanning salon myself and customer service IS the business. Today, I went to Glo Tanning in South Tampa with a friend; I arrived at 7:53 pm as a new client. I filled out some forms and, maybe 10 minutes later, turned them in. We had asked when we would be helped, and Jordan kept saying we were understaffed and busy!! Soon soon!! At 8:38, Jordan asked us what we wanted, and we paid. They don't tell you that when you cancel your membership, everything you have paid for, you can no longer use. It's a scam and robbery. Poor service.

Ok listen. There are a lot of pros and cons to this place, so lets talk about them all. PROS: 1. The girls who work here (especially Jules, Katie, Sophia) are very kind, knowledgeable and hardworking. They make it fun to come in here. 2. Lots of services to pick from. I have an unlimited membership so I can do a bunch of stuff which I can't get at other spas. (However this benefits me more in st. pete. I am only down here when i visit friends) And the cons... Worst experience. Just wanted a single spray tan. Staff member explained membership and I said I wasn't interested and that I just wanted a single spray tan. Said she would do the one charge (so it was cheaper which I appreciated) and then cancel the membership. The membership was not cancelled. I was charged the following month. Have called customer service. Said I was getting a refund in 7-10 business days. Waited a month, called back again and was told I was not getting a refund and they will never refund for services.
