ALL SOUTH BEACH TANNING FRIENDS STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.. I went yesterday since I got a text that south beach transferred all there current members to Glo. I was told I get the rest of April FREE and also was charged over $100 for tanning lotion . Then today I go in to tan today and I got this text . Your Glo Tanning account has been terminated as of 04/16/23. You are no longer permitted on the premises of any Glo location from this day forward.WTF THEY ARE THIEVES
So we bought a gift certificate for a friend last week. At no time did they mention that they were moving to a different location in Stroudsburg! So the person that has the certificate for minutes is now scrambling trying to get it in. What kind of place does that knowing that they are moving. We should've been told and given the option if we still wanted to purchase the minutes. COMPLETELY DISHONEST in my opinion. I enjoyed going here when I was able prior to COVID-19. When they closed all accounts were placed on 'hold'. When they reopened I called and explained to someone that I would not be returning due to pregnancy. I asked the staff member to freeze my account. I was charged a fee this month, even though my account should have been frozen. When I called to speak to someone about this I was told refunds are absolutely not given under any circumstances, even if I haven't accessed the services. We did place all of our customer auto-memberships on hold during the COVID-19 shutdown, we reopened on June 15th 2020 however we did not resume monthly membership charges until August 1st 2020 giving our customers more than enough time to call our salon to freeze or cancel their memberships if needed.
