My husband received a new liver in January of 2020..he had some major set backs along the way..No Physical Therapy was preformed on him for 4 weeks in ICU or 3.5 weeks on a transplant floor....I ASKED ABOUT IT EVERY TIME I SAW A DOCTOR..I was told by one doctor that they were there to save lives not do PT...So after 7.5 weeks of being in the hospital flat on his back he developed drop foot, and he is unable to walk...He entered Good Shepherd and the VERY NEXT DAY he called me from a wheelchair, he was shaving himself, the ne... read more
