Thank you so much to everyone who helped my sick dog and me today. The check-in/out staff were so kind and friendly, and Brandi the vet tech and Dr. Jan were patient and took the time to thoroughly explain what was going on. Also thank you to the vet tech who cleaned up when my dog got sick in the office. I absolutely recommend Governor’s Avenue to anyone who is looking for a place to take their animals!
Very kind and compassionate
New client to the practice with 3 fur babies. The staff and doctirs I've interacted with have been nice and professional. Bonus is that they do grooming as well. I don't like the fact they take you and yoir pet to one room, take your pet to another room to exam them, then come back in to review everything. To me, that is sketchy....I have no way of knowing how they treat them. I'm just that type of person....I like to see what's going on.

Thank you for your review and welcome to the practice! As of VERY recently we have offered the client the option to 1) staying curbside 2) having their pet examined in the room with their human 3) having their pet examined in the treatment area away from their human. Options 1 and 3 were standard during the pandemic. (At one point our hospital shut down due to staff COVID related illness). I found a patch of missing fur on my cat and was convinced he had ringworm. I called two other places before getting an urgent care appointment here. Thankfully it wasn’t ringworm but being able to confirm that was worth the urgent care price! The staff is wonderful and very caring.
We had an emergency today with our senior dog Sadie. First time she has ever been there and everyone was so awesome. They squeezed us in for an urgent visit and treated Sadie so great! Thank you so much! ❤️ 🐶
Thank you Dr. Jan for making Pretty Girls transition easier on us and her this week. You, Dr. Foor and your techs Frank and Tom are the best. We appreciate all you have done for her in her 12+ years. Other vets would have given up on her but Dr. Foor never did! Iam devastated, but now she’s out of pain.
