i used to go to this vet for my cat, nova, for help on his skin allergies. basically all they advised was to get him benadryl and shove it down his throat. this never worked and he would gag it all back up. i asked if he could give him liquid antihistamine to calm down his allergies and they told me there was nothing they could do. his skin allergies became SO bad that i had to take him to the e-vet only to find out that could give him the liquids he needed AND a cone to keep him from ripping his hair and skin out. they neve... read more
Not in the animal care business, in the money making business
had a appt at 11am checked in at 1050.. i watch car after car pull up and someone comes right out..at 1145am I ask one of the techs walking in and out how much longer she asks who I have and in a straight face says I'm sorry we forgot about you. no one had the decency to come out and give us any updates. I will not gi back ever and I'd recommend you stay away too
We've been here twice. The first time we had a flawless experience with the woman vet who clearly has been doing this a while, but still has a big heart for animals. However, the second time we came, we had the older gentleman as our vet and it was the worst experience we've ever had with a vet (we do rescue and have used many). First, he trudged into the room annoyed, without introducing himself. Then, he was unnecessarily rough with our very sick kitten, rude, condescending, spoke down to us, constantly interrupted, and re... read more
was supposed to have an appointment. ...couldn't find me in their system. ...sat in the parking lot 2+ hours....waiting for a simple rabies shot....they were rude...unprofessional. ..unorganized. ...not happy at all
I was not impressed with their services or their manner of conducting. i took my elderly cocker spaniel in with an injured paw. they gave her pain meds but said they would not renew the prescription without x-rays and a wellness check costing over $300. My personal doctor cost a lot less. I needed vaccines for my dogs and was quoted $170 each. I was shocked; they said a wellness check and bloodwork that I didn't ask for. when I asked for the cost of just vaccinations, they refused to quote me unless I came into the off... read more
I have taken my 10-year-old Maltese, Lexi, to Grant Avenue three times and I don't plan on taking her back there. I have PTSD, I'm applying for disability, and my income is below poverty level. Every time she's been taken in to see a vet there, the vet who sees her has something snarky to say because I can't come up with the money for expensive procedures or medications on the day of the visit. Truth be told, I spend more money on ensuring her needs are met than I do on myself. During her first visit, the vet told me she has... read more
If it were possible to give them no stars at all I would. One of my puppies got parvo and was diagnosed at an emergency clinic. I kept my second puppy separated but the vet told me he was probably already infected. I needed a second prescription of antibiotics now. So I called their clinic and the receptionist told me about all these charges about him being seen, then being tested(even though I know he had it). I told her I couldn’t afford to spend that much two days in a row and I just needed the vet to see him to write a p... read more
