Everything went smoothly. Gravina’s met their promised deadline, and they were very efficient and responsive. One of the windows they installed ended up needing to be replaced, and I was very happy with how they handled the situation. I may use them again in the future for work upstairs. They replaced old basement windows.
They carry quality windows, and the crew did a meticulous job with the installation. I thought they did a very good job insulating the product. My only objection is that the installation time took much longer than what I anticipated when entering into the contract. I signed early summer, and they were supposed to install around early fall. I think they are great! They are accommodating, and they’ve really worked hard to make sure that we’re happy. We’ve had nothing but good luck with Gravina’s. They arrive on time for appointments, are responsive to our needs, and their prices are competitive. They’ve installed two French doors.
We had been having trouble with these 5 windows for 15 years, before and after replacing them approximately 10 years ago.The plastic window runners that had been replaced had warped, again, from the sun, and the windows leaked air like crazy and hung crooked.The door was warped at the bottom of one, but we couldn't replace just one of the doors without replacing the other side, as they were a matched set..Jim offered a deal on the doors. The Marvin windows are excellent. Besides the improved thermal insulation they provide, they have also made our home much better insulated from street noise. They look super from both outside and inside. The installer (Lonnie) did an outstanding job with both the windows themselves, and the new wooden sills which he crafted beautifully. Very good. Had several quotes from other brands and found that for the size of these windows (large) - that the Marvin windows were mid priced but seemed to have the best quality for the $. Replaced 5 windows with the Marvin fiberglass windows.
The work was actually done a few years back. Gravina's did an excellent job and their windows are first rate, high quality windows. There was a minor imperfection in the glass on one of the windows and Gravina's replaced it right away...no procrastinating, no push-back and no arguing... We have hail damage on our aluminum-clad windows and this company will be doing them. The guy that came out seemed really trustworthy. It?s a family-owned business and they seem to have good ratings. I?ve had Marvin windows before and I liked them. When I called, no one would call me back and when I tried emailing, no one would email me back. I was nervous because I?d already paid him $19,000. Overall very satisfied with the Marvin Infinity product and with the company as a whole. Completed first phase of multiphase home window and doors replacement project without a hitch. This phase included a triple casement window and a double casement window in the kids' rooms, a triple and single casement window in the master bedroom, and an obscured awning casement window for the kids' bathroom.
